Dickinson Place

Dickinson Place has been in the ownership of the Williamson family for over 300 years. Previously run as a dairy farm, the milking part of the business was moved and the original farm buildings were earmarked for development into holiday accommodation.

view of guest house

Features like old oak beams have been retained in the design of the cottages to compliment the modern comforts which we have all come to expect.

Set in a tranquil courtyard in the centre of Allonby village, with spacious off-road parking, these charming cottages offer peace and quiet - yet are only yards away from the main thoroughfare. The beach and sea-banks are just across the road, and all amenities are within a very short walking distance.

Allonby, the 'Jewel on the Solway Coast' is an ideal base for touring the Lake District as well as the Cumbrian coastline - a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. If history is what you want then the City of Carlisle and the Roman Wall are also close at hand.
